inside the LINES continues their partnership with Landmark Bank, and the most recent project has a little bit of everything. Landmark Bank's Downtown Bank needed a renovation to the approximately 12,000 square foot lower level. The previous workspace housed about 25 employees and needed to expand to about 65 employees in the same footprint.
Enter Brad Eiken and inside the LINES. Tehre were many considerations for revamping this workspace. There was a need for meeting spaces, acoustics to handle the additional bankers, power and data distribution and workspaces to accommodate fiver different departments with different work styles. Our Project Manager, Glen Gromer, coordinated with Hubert Builders to assist Landmark Bank with these challenges.
As the bank is on the cutting edge of technology, we were able to utilitize the work area, combined with their technology to eliminate unnecessary individual and common area footprints. itL also utilized a holistic approach of Feng Shui to help with the flow of traffic, structural columns and being in an area with no natural light.
itL addresed the challenge of five departments with different work styles by utilizing our Six Models of Work programming tool to enhance workplace performance. Teknion's Altos/Optos architectural wall was used as it allowed for needed distribution of power and data, acoustical barriers, separated departments, additional meeting spaces, clear glass walls and panels for light flow and an open feel. Utilizing Altos/Optos also reduced construction costs, expedited project completion and will allow for flexibility as Landmark departments expand and contract.
Landmark Bank shares itL's concern for staff health and happiness by meeting some specific needs with Teknion lift desks and having a room dedicated as a "Quiet Room". itL designers, in conjunction with Oswald Architecture, provided an inviting selection of finishes and colors throughout the area.
